Man oh mannnnnn what a day it has been in the Swamp!!! Niners game is still pending but the others hit...well, technically not the Titans since I listed them at -1.5....however in real life at kickoff the spread moved to Tenn +1 so I came away with a push, but for arguments sake I will stick with what I posted. Still a great day overall and an awesome day of football in general, some real close and exciting games that went right down to the end or even needed extra time to decide them. Tonight we have an interesting game on our hands....a hyped up AFC matchup between a top dawg of new and one of old. The undefeated Cincinatti Bengals will head into Foxborough tonight to take on the lowly New England Patriots. Now if you have been following my posts you will remember that during my Monday Night Football write-up last week I talked about how the Pats would get their butts handed to them in Kansas City that night, and then it would just be so like the NFL to watch them bounce back at home the following week on Sunday Night Football and hand Cincy their first loss. Needless to say, I am sticking to this tonight. When Swampy has a vision, you simply do not mess with it.
The Bungles are comign off of a bye week and I think will play like they caught a cold during that off time. Yes they have been playing superb as of late but they have not had to face any real pressure thus far. Their games have been somewhat cake thus far to say the least. They beat a confused Ravens team week 1 who had not found thier new identity yet and STILL almost lost in the end. They were lucky to get out of their with a win. They then beat the Falcons and Titans, two teams that they should beat because they are straight up average at best. Therefore, the Bengals look better than they are. The Pats also haven't had any impressive wins yet but I believe that changes tonight at home, on prime time, in front of their home crowd. They were straight up EMBARASSED last Monday Night on National Television. You better beleive Belichek and Brady have been on this team's every move all week to get the gameplan right and be ready for tonight to not let that happen again. They will accept nothing less than a win, and they will get the job done. They are the seasoned veterans in this situation and that will show tonight. The Bengals on the other hand are a very talented and young team who seem to always crack under pressure and on the big stage, take their last few playoff games for example....choke jobs all around. Tonight, nothing changes....the Red Rifle Andy Dalton will fold tonight like a cheap suit, and the great one Mr. Brady will do what he does best with the time that his offensive line will give him after completely abandoning him last week and had him fearing for his life. They are too intimidated and scared of him to let that happen again. Gronk is a week healthier, he and the two little Wes Welker clones Amendola and Edelman will show up tonight and the Pats will be rolling on all cylinders. Pats get it done at home....lets cap off a GREAT GREAT GREAT SUNDAY IN THE SWAMP!!!! CHEERS EVERYONE!!!
