***KANSAS CITY CHIEFS @ GREEN BAY PACKERS***

Rough day in the Muck yesterday as it was a day full of some ugly looking scores. We have one tonight on MNF with the potential to save the week and I think it does just that being a close back & forth type of game. I apologize for the delayed post as It is almost kickoff so I will try to make this short and sweet.

The Chiefs are coming off of one of the worst ways to lose a game I've seen in awhile on Thursday Night Football last week. They literally gave the game away to division big brother Denver Broncos last week as Jamaal Charles fumbled the ball right into the Denver defense's hands for a game winning touchdown. In hidnsight, it can be said the Chiefs should've won that game, but they didn't. There is no doubt these guys have been stewing all week with that bad taste in their mouths and are anxious to get back out on the field to make things right. Unforunately for them there next matchup is tonight on MNF in Green Bay vs the great one, Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers has some sort of rediculous streak going where he has thrown ZERO interceptions at home in an absurd amount of games for an NFL QB. This guy has truly mastered the QB position and it is a treat to watch at times. However, I think that Kansas City has the toughest defense he has seen yet and doesn't often see for that matter. I am aware that there pretty much is no stopping this guy, he will get his no matter what. However a defense like the Chiefs is the type that can slow him down and get in his face consistently. They will be motivated to do so tonight and have the talent to get it done. Green Bay's freight-train of a RB in Eddie Lacy is banged up and should play, but will be limited splitting time with solid backup RB James Starks. The Packer WRs as we know are banged up and not at full strength either but obviously as we know like Tom Brady, it doesn't seem to matter who is catching balls for Rodgers these days. However tonight, I think KC covers these guys well and forces Rodgers to use his legs more. am always one for streaks to be broken, I think Rodgers throws an interception tonight against this pass rush and secondary. The weather seems to be a little slick, and I can see a tipped ball going in Kansas City's favor here.

On the other side of things the Cheese defense is good but the Chiefs have a stud RB in Jamaal Charles who is chomping at the bit to redeem himself after last week. He is lucky enough to be on the big stage once again with the opportunity to do so. Andy Reid will force feed this guy tonight. QB Alex Smith is smart and on a night where all the commentator talk will be focused around how Rodgers dropped in the draft and Smith picked #1 overall and the blasphemy of it all, etc. etc. etc., I think he will represent himself well and actually throw a pair of TDs, maybe even one to a WR for once! Tight End Travis Kelce is a stud and with WR Maclin now on the outside he has the weapons to put up points. I think we are in for a good one here tonight and it will be close either way. KC is one of the few teams who can beat the pack at home historically. I wouldn't be suprised if they do it here tonight making it known that they are definitely a contender here early in the season. KC +5.5
