***DETROIT LIONS & KANSAS CITY CHIEFS DO LONDON***

WAaaHhhZzzAaAHHHBBEeeIIIIiiiiii?!!???!! SwampMan is back after some Trick Or Treatin' and we got another long day ahead of us starting with some tea and crumpets! The Lions and Chiefs kickoff in London in about an hour. Therefore this will be short and sweet. I am going to back the little Lionsi in this one as I actually think it is a pretty good spot for them to get their second win. A change of scenery in both the literal and coaching staff sense will do them some good. The Lions fired their offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi and offensive line coaches after another brutal loss last week. There was definitely some animosity amongst the coaching staff and the players when the playcalling simply was not working from the get go. Now that there will be a different scheme in the interim that is most likely tailored to what QB Matt Stafford wants to do and more impoortantly, feels comfortable. That being said, I anticipate Staffy to have success this morning throwing the ball against a porous Chiefs secondary despite KC having a talented pass rush. I think the Lions will actually look more like the highpowered Lions we got used to watching last season and put on a bit of a international show this morning for the people of London. It is no secret that there is no shortage of weapons on this offense. WRs Calvin Johnson AKA Megatron and Golden Tate will shine today, and rookie RB Ameer Abdullah will be the outlet dumpoff out of the backfield when LBs Justin Houston and Tamba Hali get to Stafford because lets face it, they will at times. However on the other side of things, KC had a was able to pull of a HUGE win at home last week as they upset the Pittsburgh Steelers. Although it looks much more triumphant in writing as the Steelers started their backup's backup QB and KC was still barely able to beat them. Now we all know that KC doesn't exactly light up the scoreboard, and I believe that the Lions defense will also turn back the clocks of time along with the rest of the world last night and actually come to play. They shown flashes of what they could be this season when in the spotlight like the MNF game against the Seahawks before the referees completely crushed their spirits. That defensive lne will be in QB Alex Smith's face and force the Chiefs to beat them by throwing the ball downfield, which they are not the greatest at. Basically, KC will be KC and be kicking a lot of FGs today. All in all, I like the Lions to play a fine tuned game throughout and use it as a stepping stone to getting back on track and build off of as both teams head into the bye. LIONS +3
