***GREEN BAY PACKERS @ DENVER BRONCOS***
Tonight we have a real treat in store as one of the two top teams in the league will be served their first loss in Denver. The Bronco defense has been the main reason they remain undefeated this season and I think that storyline continues tonight in Mile High. Green Bay is one of the best teams in the league and Aaron Rodgers is arguably the best QB no doubt, but in spots like this I'll go ahead and back the one they call the Sheriff, Peyton Manning while off a bye week. This guy has surely heard the rumblings of how he is done, has a noodle of an arm, is a former shell of himself, and basically that he needs to just go ahead and hang 'em up. However while SOME of that may be true, I learned a long time ago that one does not piss off the forehead and go against this Manthing on Prime Time football, especially at home, and as an underdog. I like him and Head Coach Kubiak to have put together a plan during the bye week to ensure he has success against this ball hawking Packer defense and put up some points. However mainly, I'm really just backing this Bronco defense as I believe it is the most talented and best in the league. The Packers will get their best shot here on the big stage while in their own house and looking to make a statement that even the best QB will crumble when they face the newly formed lights out duo of DE/LBs DeMarcus Ware and Von Miller. I've watched this pair closely so far this year and I don't think there is anyone who is getting to the QB and applying pressure better than they are at the moment. Roders will not be able to scramble out of the pocket and buy time to throw on the run like he is used to doing. The Bronco DBs also consist of arguably the best CB tandem in the business in Talib and Harris and these guys will be sure to capitlalize on any mistakes Rodgers decides to make. I can see the Pack tring to estabish RB Eddie Lacy finally up the gut but the Orange Crush will be ready. This place will be nuts tonight, and it is almost game time so I will just end this by saying that I like the Broncos defense to shut down the Packers big time here under the lights. BRONCOS +2.5
