***BUFFALO BILLS @ NEW YORK JETS***
OHHHHHH BABY OHHHH BABY, ANOTHER ONE! Another divisional matchup on Prime Time football for us to enjoy, they gotta be scheduling these on purpose! Heheh. This one is extra special however as it has a ton of underlying factors playing into it. Obviously Bills new Head Coach Rex Ryan is the Jets Ex-Coach and was canned last season. Rex now returns to MetLife stadium for the first time since leaving and you can believe he has had this one circled on his calendar since the day the schedules came out. I got to believe that one of the main reasons this guy chose to go to Buffalo is to eventually stick it back to the Jets for firing him. That is all and good and everything and I like Rex's whole hunger for revenge however tonight I don't think it works out well for him. I know the Jets are banged up but I still believe they are the better overall team here and will get it done at home tonight. As bad as Rex wants this win versus his old team, the same can be said about the Jets entire organization wanting it just as bad or even more so. The last thing they need is their old outspoken coach coming back to serve them a loss on prime time football and then having to hear about it all week in the Tri-State media, because believe me, they will crucify Gang Green if they were to blow this one tonight. Speaking of Gang Green the Jets and Bills will be rocking some sort of throwback/new uniforms. That being said the Jets will be in head-to-toe green which you know I always think plays a big role regardless of what some may say. In the words of my man Deion Sanders, "look good-feel good, feel good-play good" or something like that, and it's true. This will surely add some flavor to the energy at MetLife tonight, not that there needs to be another reason as the return of Rex will surey be enough to provide a spark to these guys. The last two weeks the Jets have played snooze worthy football after coming up short in Foxborough. Tonight I believe is the perfect situation to wake these guys back up and show the NFL just how dominant they can be. I like their defense to get after Bills QB Tyrod Taylor and Revis to hook up with Sammy Watkins for the entire game. Will he beat him deep once or twice? Maybe, but I like the Jets offense to take advantage of the Bills CBs with Marshall and Decker's size advantage. QB Fitzpatrick is one tough S.O.B., and he showed me what I needed to see last weekend regarding his thumb being a factor. This guy is a warrior and he will surely love nothing more than to stick it to the team that gave up on him once upon a time. Fitz-Magic in the Meadowlands tonight! That being said the SwampMan is keeping it mucky and feeling the GANG GREEN with a dominating performance! JETS -2.5
