***SWAMPY SUNDAY - WEEK 10 - MUCK 5***

SUNDAYYYYY BLOOOODDYYYYYY SUNNDAAAYYYYYYYYY!!!!! Great matchups on deck today as there are plenty of live dawgies foaming at the mouth to upset some of the league's elite teams. Which ones are for real and which are fraudelent? A day like today will surely give us a better idea when all is said and done. The clock is ticking so lets rock!

***DETROIT LIONS @ GREEN BAY PACKERS***

The Lions are off the bye week and let's tell it like it is, this year is a complete waste and they have really managed to screw up their organization entirely throughout this season so far. It is really hard to watch. That being said this is one of those close your eyes, bite your lip, and pull the trigger plays as it does set up for a great spot to cover a generous number here. The Packers are reeling as of late, dropping two in a row on the road against two of the top teams in the league who posses arguably the top two defenses mind you. Needless to say, understandable losses. They come home today where they are treated by the NFL and Zebras as the Golden Child and are in perfect position to right the ship and get back on track against one of league's worst teams. However the Lions are off of a bye week, this is a divisonal game, and that being said- arguably the biggest game they will now play this season. I think it is safe to say that these guys are feeling a bit refreshed and ready to give it their best shot today and will come motivated to play spoiler against their divisional big brother and end a rediculously long losing streak in Green Bay. They will probably not come close to the upset, but I think they have enough talent and firepower on that offense to still put up some points, especially against a banged up Green Bay defense. Aaron Rodgers has looked out of sync lately and that is because like Brady, he doesn't like to be hit whatsoever. I think he is frustrated with the amount of pressure from opposing pass rushes he has seen the passed two weeks and the Lions know this, and still have a talented defensive line as well. DE Ziggy Ansah will be in Mr. Rodgers' face today. This one will be a good 'ol Black and Blue divisional battle. LIONS +10

***CLEVELAND BROWNS @ PITTSBURGH STEELERS***

I saw enough from backup QB Johnny Manziel last week to prove to myself that he can be dangerous and play in this league when playing his game. I thought he looked solid last week with short preparation on the short week and big stage against an undefeated Bengals team. His WRs didn't help him out much dropping a lot of big passes resulting in some punted footballs. Johnny will have some more weapos in his arsenal today, and another week of preparation under his belt. He will also faceoff against another backup QB in Pittsburgh as Landry Jones will be under center who doesn't scare me one bit. Somebody say Cotton Bowl? These guys have faced each other before, not that it means anything. Basically I am foreseing Manziel putting on a bit of a show today establishing himself as the starter for Cleveland moving forward this season. I also see Pitt having some trouble and struggling to find success against a jacked up Cleveland defense. I smell a big upset here, BROWNIES +6.5

***DALLAS COWBOYS @ TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS***

Dallas has had a brutal stretch without their starting QB Tony Romo thus far, and I think it continues another week here. The Tampa Bay Bucs are actually not out of the wildcard hunt and are quietly on the rise despite dropping some tough games like last week against the Giants. If not for some big dropped passes and bonehead mistakes, they could've taken that one. I think they get it right this week at home again, against a struggling team that seems to be imploding both on and off the field with their high profile players causing some distractions in the media. Tampa QB Jameis Winston has looked really good at times and I think he tears up this Cowboy secondary today. Just taking the better QB here when it comes down to it. Backup veteran and interception thrower Matt Cassel scares nobody, and the Bucs have the talent and speed in their LB core to stifle the Dallas run game. BUCCANEERS +1

***MINNESOTA VIKINGS @ OAKLAND RAIDERS***

This is probably the best game of the day right here. Two up and coming teams that are looking to snag some wildcard births faceoff in the Black Hole. Long story short here as we are getting close to kickoff, but I got to back the Purple People again here. I love the defense they are playing this season and I think they will give the Raider gunslinger QB Derek Carr some trouble today that he hasn't really had to deal with due to his offensive line's stellar pass protection. It is supposed to be a windy one here as well so I think the deep passes will be limited which works against the Raider offense, and I like Viking RB Adrian Peterson to have a huge game today on the ground as he should have no problem ripping through the middle of this defense, and steadily controlling the game.

***NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS @ NEW YORK GIANTS***

Revenge game here as the Pats who are already on a mission to prove they are as dominant as advertised, now get a chance to embarass the team who served them two straight Super Bowl losses and kick them while they are down. Unfortunately for the Giants here, I think the Pats will be able to do whatever it is that they want and this one will be pretty one sided. The Gmen may have some success in the air but they just simply won't be able to keep up and stop the Pats from getting consistent points. They straight up just do not have the man power necessary to get it done. Everyone thinks that there is some sort of mystique in play when it comes to these two teams getting together, as if the Giants are the Patriot's kryptonite. However this is a completely new Giant's team and they are about to get crushed just so that Bill and Tommy feel a little better about themselves. PATRIOTS -7
