***KANSAS CITY CHIEFS @ PITTSBURGH STEELERS***
Not much time for a writeup for tonight's matchup but it is a doozie for sure as the 2-1 Kansas City Chiefs come into a tough Heinz Field to take on a pissed off and embarrassed Pittsburgh Steelers team. The Steelers were blanked by the surging rookie QB Carson Wentz and the Eagles last week in Philly which stunned the league as they lost badly 34-3. It is not often that you see this high-powered offense lead by QB Big Ben Roethlisberger and WR Antonio Brown get shut down like that. Eagles Defensive Coordinator Jim Schwartz called a great game and may have laid down the blueprint on how to slow Pitt down. If I'm KC Head Coach Andy Reid, I am taking a look at what my former team did to accomplish this and would do my best to emulate it where possible. The Chiefs have some great pieces on defense, especially in their secondary as they picked off Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Jets 6 times last week. Sophomore CB Marcus Peters is quickly establishing himself as a top corner in this league, and I think he will welcome the task of covering Antonio Brown tonight. I am sure Brown will get his, but I like Peters to limit his production a bit. The Chiefs are coming into this game with some confidence whereas the Steelers are anxious to right the ship after a shameful showing last week. I give the edge to KC here with the pressure more on PItt at home on the big stage to perform better. They will get back their stud RB Le'Veon Bell after serving his suspension and KC will also welcome back their stud RB Jamaal Charles who will also be making his debut tonight coming back from injury. Both RBs will surely serve as a big spark to their offense here tonight and both defenses are also nursing a couple injuries so this should provide for a good one. I am going to go on a gut play in this toss up and side with the red & white to get a big feel good conference win on the road. I like backing the KC defense on Prime Time generally and see them cruising into their bye week on some feel good vibes. CHIEFS+3
