***NEW YORK JETS @ TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS***

No time for extensive write-ups today so I will do my best to keep these short and sweet and apologize ahead of time for the poor structure:

My favorite play today takes place in Tampa Bay, where the lowly 2-6 Buccaneers host the 4-5 New York Jets. Tampa has been struggling majorly and will attempt to snap their 5 game losing streak at home here. The Jets have arguably been the league's biggest surprise this year as many thought they might not even win a game this season. Today's game has such a great twist to it as the two QBs involved each have a brief history under helm for the opponent. Jets QB Josh McCown has pretty much played for everybody in the league it feels like at this point and had a short stint for Tampa before they drafted their franchise QB Jameis Winston. With Jameis hurt, backup QB Ryan Fitzpatrick takes over and that's where things get juicy. Like McCown, Fitzpatrick is facing a former team in the Jets today but unlike McCown, there is plenty of bad blood between the QB and his old team today. After Fitzpatrick took NY by storm with his best season two years ago and just missing the playoffs, he then forced a contract dispute wanting to cash-in on his career year. One can't really blame him as he probably knew he wasn't ever going to play much better than he did that season. He was right, as the next season (last year) was a complete dud and he and the team parted ways on bad terms. Now today he gets a chance to fill in for Winston and snap a losing streak for the Bucs against his former team who is coming off of their best outing of the season thus far. The Jets looked like world beaters at home on TNF last week dismantling their division rival in the red hot Bills. Needless to say, one would expect them to carry that momentum on the road and handle the Bucs with ease, especially against Fitz. However the case of revenge can be made for both the Jets and Fitzpatrick here, and in my opinion the Bucs have the edge at home today. I still believe they have a solid roster and the problem was indeed Jameis. I don't know what his deal is at the moment. I know he is a strange guy but he is just off both mentally and physically lately. I believe Fitz will actually provide a spark for this team for this one game and the defense will get after McCown and Co. The Bucs are still the better overall team in my opinion, even without their best WR in Mike Evans who is suspended for a fight in last week's game. They still have plenty of weapons on offense in WR DeSean Jackson, TEs Cameron Brate and OJ Howard, and RB Doug Martin. Call me crazy but I think the Jets will have a bit of a let down here and Tampa will pull out the W at home. BUCCANEERS-1

***LOS ANGELES CHARGERS @ JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS***

If you have been following me, you know I am always high on this Chargers team. I believe they are extremely talented on both sides of the ball and have the tools necessary to be a contender. Just like in years past, they started the season slow and have unfortunately been on the wrong side of many close games. Despite losing to the Super Bowl Champion Patriots on the road two weeks ago, I love the way they played them defensively and think the final score doesn't do justice to how close that game was. Now after a bye week, they head into Jacksonville or "Sacksonville" as they have been calling it with the way this young Jaguar defense has been playing. These guys are lights out and I personally wish they had a real starting QB so that they can be a serious threat in the AFC. Until then, I will remain a non-believer in this team as a whole when it comes to winning big games because I think if they are to fall behind on the scoreboard early, they will struggle coming back due to their lack of offense through the air. They get their Rookie RB Leonard Fournette back today after he was suspended by the team for a game last week, but I believe LAC Defensive Coordinator Gus Bradley will have a gameplan here for his guys to keep Fournette contained and get after Bortles. Bradley had a miserable stint recently as the Jaguars Head Coach and I think his guys will play extra tough to get him a win versus his old team today. It is November, meaning if you are planning on making a run, the time is now. That being said, the Chargers know they have zero room for error and I like QB Phillip Rivers and his plethora of weapons on offense to find ways to get in the endzone against this defense who may be a little too cocky at the moment after last week's win versus a struggling Cincinnati team. Bolts get the upset here as they ignite their usual November surge. CHARGERS+5

***NEW YORK GIANTS @ SAN FRANCISCO 49ers***

Yes, I am going to back the miserable, winless 49ers again here today. I failed backing them last week at home versus the Cardinals as they fell 20-10. They get another shot today at home against arguably the league's biggest dissapointment of a team in the New York Giants. NYG is 1-8 and it was clear to me last week that there are severe issues in-house with this team. Head Coach Ben McAdoo is on the hot seat in his second year leading the Giants and I believe the pressure is on to the maximum to right the ship against the winless Niners today. One would think the Giants have plenty of talent and should easily handle business to get a win versus a team that doesn't even compare to them on paper. The only problem is, In my opinion McAdoo has completely lost the team and I question whether or not they have his back in today's game. The players just like the rest of the world aren't stupid, they know that with a loss today, McAdoo is most likely finished as their Head Coach. There were anonymous players quoted this past week commenting that he has indeed lost the team and although some players like Safety Landon Collins came out and said that it isn't the case, I don't believe it. I believe what my eyes tell me, and after the embarrassing 51-17 drubbing last week at the hands of the Rams, he's done at the Head Coach at the end of the season and maybe even after this week. The locker room seems to be in shambles and there is a clear divide with players calling the "rat" out to put his name on the quotes against McAdoo. My guess is it is probably CB Janoris Jenkins since he was the one who was suspended for the game last week against his old team for disobeying team rules or something like that. As long as there are 1 or 2 players on the field who aren't giving a full effort, it will spread like a cancer throughout the defensive unit. The Giants are too injured and poor on the Offensive line to combat that lack of defensive effort and against a team who I got to believe wants at least 1 win to avoid making winless history against the solo Lions of 2008. Not to sure that all made much sense and I'm sorry for rambling, but that all being said, I believe this is as good a chance as the Niners will get to win a game since the Giants may have other motives and things on their mind. Avoiding the dumpster fire of the Giants until big changes are made or they prove me otherwise today. 49ers+3

***DALLAS COWBOYS @ ATLANTA FALCONS***

Keeping this one super quick and simple for the sake of time- The Falcons have also been a HUGE disappointment at times this season and if they want to be a real contender, in my opinion they need to do so today with a big win at home versus a Cowboys team who will be without their prized RB Ezekial Elliot. The Cowboys have won 3 in a row and behind QB Dak Prescott, are playing very well at the moment. In my opinion the Falcons are still that same talented team from the run to the Super Bowl last season, and they just haven't put it all together on offense with their new coordinator. Today at home, I believe they finally will. While the Cowboys have been much better defensively, I don't think they have enough in the secondary to handle the explosion that I anticipate is coming for this Atlanta offense at home today. I like the Birds to be finally clicking on all cylinders in both the run and passing game, and their defense to frustrate the Elliot-less offense. Taking Atlanta at home today. FALCONS-3.5
